Chemung valley bassmasters was formed in 2010 by a handful of guys.  Chemung valley  BASSMASTERS  INVOLVES  boaters and non boaters and is set up as head to head tournament fishing format.

Chemung valley bassmasters is affiliated with b.a.s.s. and b.a.s.s. federation nation. this allows members to fish the federation trail and earn points through club tournaments to fish the federation club team championship. all b.a.s.s. and federation dues are paid through YOUR club dues. b.a.s.s. membership is the anglers responsibility. at a cost of 25.00 a year.

all tournaments pairings are  DRAWN AT THE RAMP TOURNAMENT MORNING. non boaters are paired with boaters on the MORNING OF each tournament. it is the anglers responsibility to let the tournament directors know if you will be fishing the up coming tournament.  cvbm does not want a situation where there is more non boaters than boaters.

point system:: all points are earned through club tournaments. points start at 50 and decrease by one point  per position. two tournaments per season can be dropped. all points are added up at the end of the year giving the angler his or her position with in the club. the two goals are angler of the year and TO make the top six in points. the top six earn a bid to the federation club team championship.

MEETING PLACE AND TIME: CVBM MEETS AT  A CLUB MEMBERS BAR ROOM ON SATURDAY EVENINGS AT 6PM. MEETINGS ARE ONCE A MONTH (2nd SATURDAY of the month) AND WE TRY TO WRAP UP ALL CLUB SITUATIONS BY APRIL. OFFICER ELECTION, TOURNAMENT SCHEDUAL, ROCKBASS TOURNAMENT, RULE CHANGES, FEDERATION NEWS AND DUES ARE ADRESSED AT THESE MEETINGS.
